Ms. Raini

Well she is four. Where does the time go, I mean some days are way long, but it's crazy how you sit back and chill for a second and realize that your little girl is growing up before your eyes. She is such the cutest thing to have around. She is so easy going and pretty much goes with whatever, which is a good thing because of Bode and Hawk. She will always help me with anything I need she is my little helper and never complains. She takes good naps still, doesn't mind going to bed, and honestly never wants to do anything wrong. She is shy to people she doesn't know well, but has this cute, funny and really hyper side that I love. She dances all day long and is always giving little Hawk hugs. She will play babies and swords with Bode, well and pretty much anything else he wants to play. She is seriously a good sport. Just love that little girly!

John Schmidt

I went to a concert last week and man it was great. I absolutely loved it! First off, going to a john Schmidt Concert reminds me of my childhood cause we played his songs and went to his concerts often and I sometime forget how much I enjoy concerts and music. I go day to day with the radio on, but I love to sit down and listen to some real good music!!

School!

I seriously have some major catching up to do, but I couldn't help but jump to the things we are doing now. So Bode started school! I am so excited for him he has been looking forward to it for a long time. He got up bright and early, picked out what he wanted to wear, did his hair, brushed his teeth and was ready to go 30 minutes early. I love that kid! He is such a stud. So we talked about a few things and then I walked him to the bus stop. He was a little nervous to try and find his class, but he didn't seem too bad. Plus all of the kids were really nice to him on the bus. The night before school started Clint was totally stressed out. He kept saying, are you sure he is ready for this? Have you taught him everything he needs to know? He is out of our control now. School everyday for the next 18 years! AHHH. After, hearing all of his concerns, I was happy to feel quite happy with what was happening and I thought for sure he could handle it and that he will be home after three hours and I am sure I can still teach him. I just love how Clint gets so nervous for the kids. He is a good Dad! So off he went on the bus. I didn't cry, but I felt part of me go with him as he left me. A good friend told me that when her son went to school and was out of her hands she found herself praying for them all day long. That is exactly what I did. A little while later when he arrived home, he was bursting with excitement from all of the fun things he did.
Bode's first Day of school

Raini's first day of Preschool. She is darling, just love this little one. I was so excited for her cause she has been watching Bode go to school for a long time and she has been waiting so patiently for her turn. She continues to light up every time I tell her it is a school day!

August

So I guess I am resulting in a once a month post. I used to be such a good little blogger, then I had three kids and man it is a little harder to keep up on everything. I should probably let this little obligation as a blogger go, but I just love my Blog Books..So anyway on to August.
Fun, fun month. We have some good friends that have some horses and they let us come ride them, I just loved it. Maybe I need a horse one day! Here is my friend Kryslin giving me a quick lesson.
Bode was in heaven, also, he has always wanted to be a cowboy, what little boy doesn't, but he was definitely living a dream.
I can't think of anything much cuter than, Raini and her little friend, Tysie, together on a horse.
Little Hawk Man just hanging out, out of all the kids he seems to love animals the most, or maybe he just doesn't know what he is doing yet. Love these two.
Dax and Bode, getting dressed up to ride the horses. I love Dax's plaid shirt.
Little Miss Emery and Hawk man. Hawk is like the neighborhood baby. As soon as I show up I have tons of little girls asking to hold him. He is such a ladies man.
We had a fun all Girls Tea Party, when the boys went to the Fathers and Sons overnight camp out. Plus crepes and Nutella, what more could you ask for.

The Fair...who knew the fair was such a happening place. I didn't, we went with a bunch or kids and moms to the fair and it was so fun. We saw some crazy animals and got to feed some too, well i didn't feed them, but I told the kids they should, it is an experience right? The only downfall of the hole fair was I had this goat eating my stroller, I couldn't get the little guy off of it. He was just chewing and chewing. Finally one of the kids grabbed it by the horns and got if off. It was funny and I was definitely awkward.

Are we serious about those horns!!!?

Look who is walking! He took his first steps in the middle of August. He wasn't for sure if it was a better option then crawling, but after a couple of weeks he is convinced that it is way better.

Loving the sprinklers

The HAPPIEST Place on Earth

This was AWESOME!!! Really I love Disneyland, its clean, fun, magical, and absolutely amazing. I don't know who had more fun, me or the kids. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Pedersen for helping it happen.

Some highlights

  1. Watching Raini and Bode with the characters. Their faces were glowing as they saw Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Mary Poppins, Handy Manny, Monsters Inc, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmin, and tons more. We got autograph books and pretty much filled them up. It was so fun.

  2. Watching Bode with all the "mean guys." He loved Pirates of the Caribbean and acted like a pirate the whole time.

  3. Bode's other favorite ride the Grizzle Rapids, which Clint lovingly persuaded me to go on. I thought I would be okay with a little piece of poncho given to be by Stacee, but that wasn't the case. I was drenched, absolutely drenched!!! It was fun to watch Mr. Bode though.

  4. Seeing how excited Grandma Pedersen was to have her whole family at DISNEYLAND

  5. Having a small tea party with Alice and the Mad Hatter.

  6. Going to dinner with all the Chip and Dale, Snow White, the Fairy God Mother, Goofy and many more Characters.

  7. Eating the nastiest food ever, and loving the Rain Forest Cafe, even if the wait was over an hour.

  8. Bubble Guns

  9. Well for Bode pretty much any kid of Gun.

  10. Watching Raini during Princess Training. She was so stinking cute.

  11. Seeing our Stake President and another family fr0m our ward. "It's a Small World"

  12. Early morning hot tubing with Callz

  13. Swimming with the kids

  14. The beach and Robyn's seaweed head pieces.

  15. Skipping Football

Swimming and some Basketball

One of my favorite things ever, Swimming. I have a good friend who, when the ward split was put into a different ward. So I don't ever get to see her. So she invited us over to swim. Not only did I get to see her but alot of other ladies I haven't been able to see for a while, including the cute Erika Adams. Good friends, swimming and pool basketball, what more could I ask for.

Good Friends

I have seriously been blessed with good friends, throughout my whole life! I had a great group of friends that I met in Elementary School, who continued to be my friends throughout Junior High and High School. I had friends who became my really close friends during those times. Then I had a couple of really close neighborhood friends whom I think about alot and were always there for me. Then to College where, all I can say is they are my Hogs!!! Love those girls. Off to Nauvoo for a semester to meet many new great friends and rekindle great friendships. Then I married my best friend ever, who makes me laugh everyday and it the sweetest thing ever. Then life gets crazy and it's not all about you and family happens and there are so many people I have relied on and have been there for me through ups and downs. Friends who would take Bode when I thought one kid was unmanageable. Friends, who close my garage when I forget. Friends who take my three kids when I need a break. Friends who would do anything for me. Friends who I could talk to for hours on the phone even if we live down the street or two roads over. Friends who treat my kids like their own. I am grateful tonight for great friends!!! LOVE YOU ALL!
