Paradise

So after a crazy 2010 we were ready to start the year off right. So we went to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico with part of my family. We definitely missed the family that couldn't be there, but we really enjoyed the time we had with the people that were there.
We have had this trip planned for almost a year and a half and to say the least we were a little nervous to take the kids down there because of all of the problems they have had with in the last few years, however, come to find out it was actually way safe and I didn't feel the least bit scared. The place we stay is seriously paradise. Everything is at your fingertips, the weather is always beautiful, the people are so nice, the food is great, and the atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. Here are some of the things we did…
1. Built sandcastles. Lindsey, Justin, Raini and I worked on one for a while, which surprisingly, was really fun, until Mr. Bode man came and kicked it over:( He is totally all BOY.
2. Played in the Ocean. Raini loved to run from the waves, while Bode jumped into them.
3. Soaked up rays. This was definitely needed, everyone needs to take a trip in January just to get a little vitamin D.
4. Drank Pina Coladas and more Pina Colodas and tried a couple of new drinks, which were all scrumptious.
5. Went down the alligator slides 5 million times. Made Raini go down even though she screamed bloody murder, she will do anything for a package of “Sour Things.”
6. Went to the pirate pinata night where the girls were in a dancing competition and the boys in a pushup competition. Raini hit the pirate piƱata and Bode hit both boots off the pirate and made sure to grab them and bring them home for souvenirs.
7. Clint, Grandpa, and Justin played tennis in the morning with Bode earning lots of quarters being the ball boy.
8. Sat in a sales presentation, which we almost got succored into buying because it really is awesome down there, but when we came back to reality and realized that we couldn't afford it we took all the free stuff and ran.
9. Watched the tigers pace in their cages.
10. Went to the Sports club where they had an awesome kids pool, bounce house, and blowup obstacle course for the kids. It was fun timing each other while we ran through the obstacle course.
11. Bike Riding. I love to see my parents on bikes!
12. Chilling in my parents pent house which came with a nice little hot tub on the balcony.
13. Ate wonderful food! Of course the breakfast was the best!
14. Played games. The best was watching Bode play Spoons.
15. Sunday watched a movie about temples and then played “Guess what temple?”

So overall it was a great vacation. Thanks to my parents who made it possible for us to go, we love you guys! Nothing is better than spending time with the fam!

November

So I am way behind, but since I haven't been keeping the best journal I for sure need to update and keep track of what we are doing. So November was a great month with a lot of fun family time!

Decorating the Christmas Tree was so fun!! Right after Thanksgiving we put it up and the kids loved getting each ornament and hanging it on the tree! Love these kids!

Love, love this Pedersen Family Tradition. Cutting down the Christmas Tree, breakfast, and the annual Ornament from Grandma Pedersen. Bode got an Iron Man and Raini a Barbie.

Thanksgiving with the Knudsen/White family. This year we had Thanksgiving at my Mom's and it was just our little family, well I mean our family 16. Crazy. With all the new babies born we thought we should keep it small, however, I feel bad that I think everyone ended up sick anyway. Sorry family! For dessert we had the White family over, it was good to see all the cousins.

This little guys is figuring out how to use his hands, it is so fun to watch him as he tries to make his fingers work.

The Candy Lover!!!

It is inevitable that every year about this time you start to think about all of the things you are grateful for and as I have sat back and looked at the year I have realized we have been blessed beyond measure. I am grateful for my sweet husband, who is so great! He treats me so wonderful and I know would do anything to make me happy. He works so hard for our family and I am grateful everyday that he was watched over during his accident. I am grateful for my kids and their sweet spirits. I grateful for the things they teach me each day and for their laughs and their health. I am grateful for great Doctors who have helped us through this year. It is crazy to not have any control of a situation and to put all of your trust in doctors you don't even know. I am grateful for the precious gift, of Baby Dane that has come into our family this year. He has been such a great addition to our family and I couldn't image us without him. I am grateful for family who has been with with us throughout everything and who are a constant support in our lives. I am grateful for friends who are always being there and would do anything for us. Lastly, I am grateful for the spirit and how it has carried me this last year. It has calmed me in times of uncertainty and strengthened me when I didn't think I could anymore.

Raini "Is really 3"

Raini, my little woman, is three!!! I can't believe it! It feels like yesterday that that little she was placed in my arms, a sweet little newborn. I remember wondering what she would be like.
She...
*Is a joy to be around
*Is very confident
*Loves Dance
*Loves to help with Dane
*Just anticipating the day for primary
*Loves oranges, yogurt and anything sweet like "Sour Things" (patch kids)
*Favorite scripture story is Samuel the Lamanite "Repent everyone"
*Loves lip gloss and stick on earrings
*Really good at sharing with her brothers
*likes to get in on a game of football with her Dad and brother
*Loves to do cartwheels and front rolls

I just love this little girl, she is such a fun little girl, full of life and love. She cracks me up all day long and it also really good about helping me with anything I need.

Catch up October 2010

Raini loves sharing her babies with Hawk...

Halloween was fun, we visited Grandma Pedersen at work, went to the neighborhood trunker-treat, which was kind of a bust because it was pouring rain. We were sopping wet and freezing. So we landed at Grandma Pedersens for some hot chili.YUM

Took a fun trip to St. George with my Parents. It was great to get out and enjoy the nice weather and great company. The kids couldn't swim enough.

We also played at the park, and got sick on everything that turned around and around. Played tennis, wentto a bounce house place called jumping jacks and relaxed it was great. Always a fun vacation.
So a couple times a month I watch one of my cute neighbors, Tate. We try and do some fun stuff when he comes over so he enjoys coming over. So here we are at the dinosaur park. Love this place! Here is Raini's favorite Dino!! I wonder why? And the boys digging for fossils.
Bode had fire saftey day at school and the city fire fighters came and brought the fire trucks, ambulance, and tons of cool stuff. A little boys dream. Here is a picture of my cute friends girl Brailey and Bode.
