Halloween 2013

Halloween is getting much more fun! The kids really enjoyed getting dressed up and going around the neighborhood. I'm usually a grumpy old man when it comes to Halloween but I am really starting to like it with my kids!

Hawks 1st Year of Soccer

Hawk played soccer this year, he was so funny, he never really went near the ball, during one game he told me he had arrows and that he was throwing them at the other team. Of course I yelled a lot but in the end it was way funny, love that kid

Disneyland October 2013

We got the opportunity go to Disneyland with the Knudsen family, it was a blast. Wayne and Robin rented a beach house in Huntington Beach. It had a pool and hot tub and a sport court and a room for all the kids. We enjoyed some time on the beach and got to go to Disneyland for two days. The first day at Disneyland there was nobody there. We got to walk on all the rides we wanted to. The second day was a bit more crowded but that's okay because we already had done everything we wanted to. Bode loved to go on all the roller coasters with Darin, Raini loved to ride the mermaid ride and also the buzz rides, Hawk got sick the first day and hung in there, he was a trooper, he loved the small rides for the kids and wouldn't stop asking to go on them. Cole stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa the first day but got to come with us the second day, he was loving the characters and having some fun. As a complete whole the trip was a blast. We rented a car with a DVD player and it took us 12 hours to drive there and 12 hours to drive home. The kids were miserable on the drive but we had a lot of fun!

Labor Day Hike

Patrice decided it was good for our family to be hiking family on Labor Day. So we set off this morning for another hike. We all had a blast. We had hiking backpack for Cole and Hawk, Bode and Raini all did so good. It was really fun

Family Night

Family night lesson tonight was on having good manners when we eat at other peoples houses, 25 minutes into our dinner/lesson Bode says "can we be us now." :-). I was on the floor laughing....
